Synopsis
How to render a text input field
Description
input elements of type="text" create input fields that let the user enter a text. This is probably one of the most used fields in a form.
Parameters
type="text"
All other valid parameters for an input field are valid. Additionally you can use the following attributes: - list - minlength - maxlength - pattern - size - spellcheck
Example
<input type="text" name="uname" placeholder="Type your username" required="required" />
Note
All attributes for a text input field are supported (like in this case : name, placeholder and required.)
