Since version 2.5 we have added administrative functions to easily remove bulk synced pages and remove tags.
The Special page for these functions gives you two options: SMW Query and Tag select.
SMW Query
Allows you to do a SMW Ask to find any relevant pages. Once you click on Make SMW Query you will get on a page with any PageSync pages that are relevant. You then get the option to remove those pages from PageSync. This will not delete any pages in your wiki, they are only removed from PageSync. If you have made a mistake, you can always go to Sync custom query page and use the same SMW Ask to put all the pages back into PageSync.
Tag select
With tag select you can choose pages based on existing tags. Once you click on USE TAGS you will get to see a list of all relevant PageSync pages found. At the bottom you can choose again the tags you want to use and will have two options presented as tabs.
- One is to remove the chosen tags from any PageSynced pages that have them, effectively delete that tag from PageSync.
- Option two allows to remove all the pages from PageSync that have the chosen tags and also removing that tag from PageSync.
